Welcome to

Hi, my name is Marek Brzechwa-White, welcome to my woodworking website.

I'm a hobby woodworker in the Los Angeles South Bay. I've been building things since I was a kid, whether I was helping my dad with renovations on my childhood home or building my own tree house in the back yard. Okay, technically the "tree house" was a bunch of boards haphazardly screwed or nailed at rakish angles in an avocado tree, but I built it myself and that was the fun part. Back then I was using some basic tools that my dad had in the garage, nothing serious, and it wasn't until I was in my late teens that I cleaned up the garage enough to have an actual workbench along one side of a garage that was stacked full of stuff. These days I have a full woodshop in my two-car garage with all the amenities. Okay, maybe not ALL the amenities, but I've got a nice tool collection going and a 4x7 workbench/assembly table, so I've come a long way.

Most of my projects have been for myself, family, friends, and church, but I'm starting to branch out into commission work. This site features some of those projects I bothered to take photos of; which happen to be some of the projects I'm most proud of.
